Tools
For Schools is a ministry to 22 grade schools within the
Cincinnati School System. Ninety-five percent of the students
in these schools are from homes that are at or below the poverty
level. Each school indicates its needs based on student enrollment.
Teachers distribute the tools free to children who
would otherwise begin the school year without basic supplies like
paper, pencils, or crayons. Individuals and corporations donate
the tools and funds for additional items. Just before
school starts, volunteers sort and distribute the
tools in one day.
